This piece of fabric has the original Ben Franklin Department Store tag attached showing a price of $1.25
Preowned fabric remnant in excellent condition. Fabric has been cut. Remaining piece is 18" long x 60" wide and includes the fold & selvage edges + an attached piece which includes a one selvage edge approx. 13" long x 27" wide. The "stripe" runs with the width (from selvage to selvage). Please use photos as part of the "Description" (taken with multiple light sources).
This has been stored in a friend's dry dark "fabric" closet for many years, but she is now moving to retirement housing. No odd smells, but it may have a slight "been in storage" smell that washing or airing out will remove.
I'm guessing this is from the 1970s, but do not know that for certain. I'm also guessing at the fiber content - it feels like a cotton-poly mix.
The printed pattern is bright and colors included are: Red, Green, Medium Blue, Yellow, Black on a White background
This would be a fun piece for any project or just to collect!
